my ma what can i say, well 'big scraw' as she was known by all us kids.
My ma was born in 1930 in possilpark (high possil she would say)she had another 2 siblings a brother alexander,aka sanny (who sadly passed away) and her sister sadie (who is the spitting image of my ma) My ma enjoyed going dancing and socialising(in her younger days),she also liked a wee game of bingo.
Big scraw met and married her true love 'big john' and along came 7 kids, catherine,sarah,alex,alan,brian,michael and "wor" john.
Sadly my ma was left widowed at the age of 39 when big john passed away.
how difficult life was for her then doesnt bear thinking about.
Then i came along in 1972,oh not another 1 my poor ma was probably saying,lol.
my ma and da had a 'on off' sorta relationship but it worked for them,well sometimes.
But again she was left on her own when my wee da passed away when i was 8yrs,yet more heartache for her.
In her life she had loads of ups and downs but what kept her going was her children (escpecially her bhoys)
she worked day and night to make sure we had what we needed and she was so very special to us all, and i wish she was here now so i could look after her the way she looked after me, love and miss you loads ma, till we meet again.xxxxxxxx

We will need to get the headstone sorted before it falls down.
